At LinkedIn we believe that everyone deserves a shot at economic opportunity. Our Social Impact team is committed to making that vision a reality through our work with communities around the world that face obstacles which limit their chances in life.

Over the past 12 months, we've worked with hundreds of thousands of individuals, helped nonprofit organizations scale their impact, and mobilized our members to make a difference in their communities. Below is just a snapshot of our impact over the last year.

Employee Volunteering

We create opportunities for LinkedIn employees to engage in social impact by contributing their skills and time to support their communities. At a local level, each LinkedIn office partners with local employment-focused nonprofits to help underserved individuals get a strong start on their professional journeys through our LinkedIn Coaches program. Workshops include but are not limited to: speed mentoring, LinkedIn training sessions, and skills-based coaching.

Mobilizing our Members

Through the Volunteer Marketplace, we offer our members an easy way to find fulfilling board and volunteer opportunities that fit their interests and expertise. LinkedIn supports several trusted providers to ensure that members have a great volunteer experience. When browsing for opportunities, consider searching on Catchafire, NPower, Taproot, VolunteerMatch, Do-it or Volunteer Ireland.
